This beautiful guitar really plays great! It comes in the original case which is still in very good condition. The paint has been worn off at the neck near the back where it connects to the body. The result is the 1993Plus, enhanced with a 1/. There is also a spot on the back of the headstock with surface player wear. Pete Townshend asked us to reprise and update his beloved Model 1993 guitar and we were only too happy to oblige. There is some light scratching and wear across the guitar and on the back but the finish is still glossy and beautiful. On the front of the head of the guitar are the words “Gibson ES-135” and on the back is the serial number again and the words “MADE IN USA” (which are a little faint.). The tag on the inside of the guitar says “Gibson USA serial no 93333306 model ES-135”. It has just come back from the shop where all the electronics were checked and gone over.
